Female indigenous language brokers in Peru: Towards the recognition of minoritised women’s human rights

Our project explores the actions undertaken by Peruvian female indigenous leaders to support access to public services for members of their communities through linguistic and cultural mediation. We are funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (UK) through their Global Challenges Research Fund allocation.

This project builds on a previous one, Translating Cultures: The legislated mediation of indigenous rights in Peru, also financed by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (UK).
